Fantasy League Week 19
By Andy Reynolds
March 25 2007
We're getting to the business end of the competition. Bath Fan 21 12 is still leading as he has done since round 10 but there is still time for either Finn or Gussie to catch him up. CB2 also had a good week thanks to the boot of Olly. So what about the rest of you?
Wuss are still clinging on to the Premiership having climbed above Saints
with 3 straight wins. Although the Saints have a game in hand, they'll be ruing
their draw with Sale. As far as the fantasy league is concerned only
Glaws are putting in any decent scores, with another 5 point win at the
weekend. For Bath it was a case of close but no 4 points.
Final Transfer Window
The final transfer window is now open, a chance to make a final push for
the top, or at least improve your current standing. A few judicious
substitutions and it could all change. Remember this round Glaws,
Saints and Briz all have an extra game, as they catch up on games
postponed over the Christmas period and your subs will be used in these
games.
This year it is looking likely that we will have a new champion, so
Bath_mp get your prize ready and to those in the running please be aware
that you are expected to provide a prize for next year's winner.
The rules for the transfer window are (as always):
1. You may make up to 5 substitutions.
2. Your resulting team must still have 3 players from each of Bath, Bristol, Gloucester, Northampton, and Worcester.
3. You can't have two players from the same team playing in any of the paired positions: Props, Locks, Flankers, Centres, or Wings.
4. Players can only be chosen in the positions under which they are listed. (I know Olly has played full back recently but you won't find him there in the player pool!)
5. Having made your subs, you may change which player is your nominated kicker.
6. The deadline for transfers/substitutions is the 7th of April 2007(before our game against Glaws).
7. Send your substitution requests to bathrugbyere_fantasyrugby@hotmail.com
