WOLVES Manager Glenn Hoddle has insisted
that he believes Wolves can still make the Premiership and has told the media
why he took the Wolves job.
After nearly 7 weeks of waiting, Wolves
have today appointed former England boss Glenn Hoddle as their manager.
Hoddle has signed just a six-month contract
at Molineux.
"It is a Premiership set-up; the stadium, the fan
base, Without a doubt." he told Sky Sports News.
"The club approached me weeks and weeks ago when I was talking to some other clubs - two English and one from abroad."
"At the time, it would have been too confusing but, for whatever reasons, those things didn't happen and I made some decisions I had to make.
"And then they came back and said: 'What about until the end of the season? We've got a burning ambition to get back in The Premiership. From where we are, it's going to take a lot of
work".
Hoddle also admitted that he believed
Wolves can make the Premiership this season.
"It is going to take a lot of hard work but I've looked at players and fan-base here and what Jez [Moxey] and the chairman talked about and I think it can be achieved, I really do."
wolvesfc.co.uk wish Glenn Hoddle all the
best of luck.
