WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers have been rocked with the news that Matt Murray has been ruled out of the season with another broken foot.

The Wolves goalkeeper missed the whole of the 2003/04 season through injury and returned to first team action two weeks ago against Millwall in the FA Cup.

However the highly-rated goalkeeper fell awkwardly on his foot during the warm-up against West Ham on Saturday and, although he felt he was fit to play in the game, it has today been announced that Murray had broken a bone in his foot.

Murray is said to be devastated by the news, but negotiations over a new contract are set to commence soon.
