WRSC Supporters Players Awards 2010
The presentation for this years awards took place in the Slick Systems Stand Pitchview Restaurant after the final Guinness Premiership game at Sixways for a season.
The 3 awards were presented in following categories
Supporters Favourite Player 2009/2010
Supporters Player of the Year 2009/2010
Peter Watkins' Young Player of the season 2009-2010
The ceremony was held up some what by Chris Latham's epic last lap around the pitch at Sixways as he tried hard to make sure that no one who wanted a photo or autograph went home disappointed. When he was able to join us, the awards were presented in the following order.
Supporters Favourite Player of the season 2009-2010 - Presented to Chris Latham by Rosemary Threadgold
Peter Watkins' Young Player of the season 2009-2010 - Presented to Jonny Arr by Ellen & Danni Jones and Elise Walsh
Supporters Player of the Year 2009/2010 -presented to Chris Latham by Darren Birch, Chairman of Warriors Rugby Supporters Club
The awards were voted for by members of the Warriors Rugby Supporters Club. The 3 award winners had definitive support in each of the categories.
Supporters Favourite Player 2009/2010 was won by Chris Latham with 42 percent of the votes cast
Peter Watkins' Young Player of the season 2009-2010 was won by Jonny Arr with 37 percent of the votes cast
Supporters Player of the Year 2009/2010 was won by Chris Latham with 33 percent of the votes cast.
The Warriors Rugby Supporters Club committee would like to thank all those supporters club members who took the trouble to vote in the awards this year and hope that even more members will vote next year.
