However, Richard Hill is probably more concerned over the defence.

Warriors have let in 58 points in the last two games and Hill knows that Gloucester's big aggressive pack will cause similar problems to those presented by Tigers last weekend.

Defence was the strongpoint last season and this weeks' training sessions have been aimed at restoring those high standards

Additionally as it’s our local derby game with our Aviva Premiership neighbours to Sixways from down the M5 in Gloucester what can we expect from the Warriors?

Looking at the results then you could think that we are in for the same old stuff we had in previous seasons when we lost valiantly with not much in the way of attacking rugby, but looking at the games on Premiership TV that may not be an accurate view of things.

The Warriors have started brightly according to some and have shown more attacking enterprise than last year. Gloucester have won one and lost one and are always a dangerous counter attacking side, so do the Warriors go all out and play aggressive attacking rugby or go into their shells a bit to prevent tries like the first 2 conceded against Tigers.

This is always a difficult balance to achieve, how do you throw everything in to score tries and still hope not to be caught out on the counter, especially against a side like Gloucester who are absolutely ruthless in such a situation.

I don’t have a clue how it can be done but let’s hope the gods are with us on Saturday and that the boys can find that elusive balance.

I think we are posing more questions with our back play this season and the forwards are showing their usual resilience, that combination alone will help gain more positive results. There are areas of concern, the front row looks a bit wobbly on occasions and a wee bit of the old slow ball at the back of scrums and mauls has reared it’s ugly pedantic head yet again. I am always one for playing what you see but there really needs to be more pace injected at times, it gives the backs more time and room to be creative.

This isn’t a derby game for the Cherry and White supporters it would appear! That title belongs to games against Bath. That won’t matter to the Glaws players though and they will be looking to beat their nearest rivals.

This will the first time I will be taking my new seat in the East (Slick Systems) Stand in block C this season so look out those in row T and below around seat numbers 87 as you’re going to have your hearing tested somewhat from now on as the cry of "COME ON YOU WORCESTER BOYS" will be ringing out yet again, let’s hope I get drowned out by the cheering from fans celebrating the Worcester boys scoring tries!
