Pontypridd prepare for their third Welsh Premiership match of the season by making a number of changes to the team to face Ebbw Vale this weekend.

Howells shuffles the pack for the visit of Ebbw

        Lynn Howells has made several changes to his Pontypridd team as they prepare for their third match of the Welsh Premiership against Ebbw Vale. In the backs, out go Bryant and Jenkins who are replaced by Jason Lewis and Ceri Sweeney and in the forwards, Matthew Rees, Dale MacIntosh, Kingsley Jones, Nick Kelly and Geraint Lewis all get starting places.

        Ebbw Vale will be coming to Sardis Road with a couple of wins under their belt, having defeated both Swansea and Llanelli at Eugene Cross Park however they have been poor away from home, being defeated by a young Cardiff team on Boxing Day.

        Ponty go into the match having beaten both Cardiff and Neath in the Welsh Premiership and a third successive win will push them right up the table and into the hunt for the title. In the same fixture last year Pontypridd ran out 33 - 13 victors however the match was less than impressive.
