Rant!

The first issue of ‘Rant!’ was posted yesterday, and will be a regular feature, giving a chance for me to speak my mind, and you to agree/disagree. As well as this, it offers you the chance of posting your own story. To Get your rant on, e-mail a word document to ac_crfc@hotmail.com

 

Home page improvements

In an aim to improve the look of the site, there will shortly be a new flash screen home page, giving a direct link to the homepage, message board and contact details. It will act in a similar way to the way that the cardifblues.com index page does.

 

This will hopefully come with a new site logo, joining the new feature and story logos, recently uploaded.

 

An apology…

Having promised a high quality player profile section for months now, I’m disappointed to tell you that it now looks further away than ever. Having completed 17/29 profiles, all saved on word, my new laptop recently crashed in an ordinary fashion, only to find that I couldn’t reboot it at all! I lost all my data including all my personal work, iTunes music, all my photos and of course all the work I’d done for the site. Fortunately, most of the sites pictures, logos and stories are uploaded; however, the player profiles were not.

 

I will start working again, but it had taken me 5 weeks work just to get that far. I’m not making any promise about the profiles, but I do intend to get some kind of section off the group by Christmas.

 

Another apology….

I appreciate that lately the stories on the site have been rather lacklustre, particularly the amount of time it takes for them to be posted. I think this has cost me a large amount of visitors, and I regret my lazy approach to the site. However in fairness this was during the time my laptop was not working (about 3 weeks) and I had to use the very slow home computer, a task I don’t enjoy.

 

However with my laptop back in action, I hope to bring the latest stories as well as regular features and trips to the message board in a bid to win back those visitors, and hopefully win some more.
