The Blues make just their 3rd home Magners league side announcement, as Young selects his side to take on Connacht.

Dai Young returns to Magners League action this weekend, as his Blues side take on the Osprey-beating Connacht.

Its the 7th Magners match for the Blues, and just their 3rd home clash, currently sitting in 9th place, but are the only side to play so few games.

Above sit Glasgow, having played 9, while the Dragons above them, have just 1 more point, but 1 less game.

Saturday's 5.30pm match sees an understrengthed Cardiff side, looking to beat a relatively unaffected Irish province. With 3 more points than teh home side, Cardiff can topple Connacht on the day with a 4-point win, however many if not most fans will be looking for a clean sweep of 5.

There are changes made to the side that won out in Edinburgh. Ed Fairhurst and Filise join the list, so Wayne Evans comes in at scrum half, and Scott Roberts start at prop. Bradley Davies comes in at lock for James Goode, and Duanne Goodfield wears 2, with Gareth Williams relegated to the bench.

However, there's no ropom in the starting XV for debuton try scorer Tom James, he is named amungst the subs.
