Tom Shanklin has withdrawn from the Cardiff Blues side to take on Glasgow tomorrow evening.

The centre failed a medical, plunging him into major doubt over his 6 Nations position with Wales.

It's been revealed that Shanks has failed to recover from a tigh straign that has kept him out since December 27th, against the Dragons.

Mark Stcherbina comes off the bench to partner Nick Macleod, while Daffydd Hewitt has been called up to the reserves.
