Well, its 10.30pm over here, and i've just seen both Paul Tito and Jimmy Gopereth in action for the Hurricanes.

And must say how impressed i was with both!

Tito's excelent work rate was very noticeable, and seemed to have teh same rugby brain as Martyn Williams. He was the first at every break down, present in open play, defence and attack, plus his lineout work was great!

Looking like a very good aqquisition based on tonights showing.

Meanwhile, out of favour Gopereth was given his starting chance at outside half, and boy did he take it. Scored a stunning solo effort chip and chase from his own half, plus looked constantly dangerous, keeping the highlanders on the back foor. Would be a good signing, though i still believe there are bigger names leaving New Zealand in the next few months who we must get our hands on.

Still, just a quick update from the Super 14 for yopu all. Ps the Hurricans won in what was both teams final match of the seaon, 22-21. A last minute try by the highlanders looked to have won it, but went unconvereted.
