Chris Horseman may still be set to arrive at the Arms Park next year, despite Worcesters resergence of late.

It was thought that the Welsh prop would be heading for Wales, should the Warriors be relegated from the Guinness Premiership. However, they stayed up, and have secured the services of Welsh Grand Slam winning coach, Mike Ruddock.

That alone was thought to be enough to keep the English-born Horseman there, however it now looks like a move to the Blues is well and truely on the cards.

Recently, Young has been stated as saying there ARE more transfers to arrive next season, adding to Tito, Spice, Alfie and Rees, with Carlos Spencer also a target.

Any move would see Horseman link up with in all-Welsh front row with Gethin Jenkins and Thomas Rhys Thomas. That is thought to be a big lure for Chris, formerly of Pontyprydd and the Celtic Warriors.

Horseman is a cert to be in Gareth Jenkins' Welsh World Cup squad in the summer, and would mean he would miss much of his first season if the move went ahead, however it would give Dai Young debateably the best front row in Wales, and put them up there with the best in Europe.

With 1 Magners League game left of the season, Cardiff lie in 2nd place, with that spot in their destiny should they beat Leinster in the Arms Park. Should that happen, they can only win the championship if the Ospreys are to slip up in either of their final 2 matches against the Dragons and Borders.
