Flanagan Joins Ospreys

Cardiff Blues today confirmed that 24 year old fly half, Dai Flanagan, will move to the Ospreys next season. He’s one of a number of fringe players told to find a new club by the region.
Flanagan, a product of the Cardiff Blues Academy, broke onto the scene with Pontypridd in the Principality Premiership in 2003-04, before making his region debut in 2006 - a baptism of fire facing Munster at Thomond Park.
That season, he had to learn quickly as he deputised at the pivotal position in Heineken Cup matches, including Stade Francais, following injuries to Nicky Robinson and Nick Macleod.
However, his appearances have been limited since the signing of Ceri Sweeney, and he was one of many told by the Blues to find new clubs ahead of next season.
Other's expected to follow him out the Cardiff City Stadium include scrum half Darren Allinson, who's believed to be joining London Irish, Scott Morgan to the Dragons, Sam Norton-Knight to the Melbourne Rebels while hooker Rhys Williams and flankers Ben White and Robin Sowden-Taylor will also be departing. They follow Xavier Rush (Ulster) and Gareth Thomas (Crusaders) who had already been confirmed.
The news comes as no real surprise, with the Blues looking to slash their wage bill after huge contracts were signed with Lions duo Gethin Jenkins and Jamie Roberts this year, keeping the hugely important players with Cardiff for another 3 years.
Dai Young has already admitted he foresees few summer transfers, with the region looking to promote several players from the academy, all of whom have impressed with Wales U20's this year.
Flanker, Josh Navidi, has already made a handful of appearances and looked to get stuck in on all occasions, scrum half Rhys Downes, full back/wingers James Loxon - one appearance and one try for the region - and Dan Fish as well as Owen Williams are all expected to be given full time contracts.
Flanker Tom Brown, 27, has already been signed ahead of 10/11 from London Welsh and of course Dan Parks, who following the 6 Nations seems a great steal from Glasgow.

The major loss is Rush but saying that we need to blood in a new younger back row as Nugget will be retiring soon after the RWC. Also Ben Blair is getting older.
I am excited by the prospect of seeing players like Warburton, Navidi, Loxton and Dan Fish having a chance next season.

I don't beleeeeeve it. I can't believe it. Surely it can't be true? Even a massive cynic such as I would find that hard to comprehend.

On a different note, I counted up on the Blues Squad webpage that 10 players have either gone or are going out of the 28 shown. That's quite a cull and dare I say with the academy players stepping up, I do not envisage a trophy next season amongst all this turmoil.
It's referred to as "progress" don't you know?
No worries, we'll still be in with a shout for one of the lesser trophies; Bic Biro, LV Plate or the Magners bowl etc. But what I really really want is the zig-a-zig-zag Holy Grail that is the HEC. It will happen.

Section 75 and all that.
If you buy something and the company you buy the service,product etc from fails to provide the service or product (for example they go bust, don't send the goods etc) and that company cannot provide a refund, you as the consumer will go to your credit card issuer and request a refund under Section 75. They in theory have to give you an immediate refund, they then seek redress through either the company that should have provided the service and if they are no longer around, then their card acquirer.
