i thought Czekai, Davies, Lewis jones and definately Cuthbert looked promising. the whole team did well, nice hands but they must learn to control the ball at rucks and stop pointless kicking ( definately against Ulster ) but on the whole WELL DONE BOIS

I dont think Davies played that well, Sweeney was better off the bench.

I don't think Davies did too bad on Sunday, his goal kicking wasn't too clever but his general open play was good, he got the back line moving well. I was quite impressed.

However I wasn't impressed when the subs came on, all 4 didn't add anything to the performance and they actually seemed to slow the team down, we even seemed to struggle a bit for the last half hour they were on. Instead of being free flowing and fluid we looked much slower.

I thought what slowed us down the most was Treviso killing our ball and the ref repeatedly not doing anything about it until the 77th minute or something.

Sweeney sweemed to be playing much deeper than Gareth Davies and i think - mainly because of the position on the field - it allowed the Treviso defense up onto us.

In the middle of the field, Sween's position is excellent as it does allow us to spread the ball wide. But for the duration of the time he was on against Treviso, we were in or around their 22 and they were up onto us very quickly, meaning we weren't really getting past the gain line.

Just a thought, not a criticism.
