You might have noticed that for regular periods this site has a little hissy fit and the message "The site is awaiting update. Please check later" appears?
The reason for this is that when no fresh news article is posted, after about two weeks sport network puts the site into "hibernation".
Now, personally I think this is a bit silly. Whilst it encourages site owners to keep content fresh, its the nature of the rugby season that we can go weeks without much actually happening. I'm sure these periods of downtime discourage users from regularly checking out the board.
The obvious answer is "well why dont you pull your finger out and add some content you lazy bastard?" True enough but we all have other things that need time spent on them, so any help is obviously handy. Which is really why I'm putting this up...
If you've got any opinions on Cardiff rugby, the close season, the season just gone, the ground, the front row, the half backs, Bruiser the Bear, why not tap out a couple of paragraphs and help us out? Anything that you might consider a decent thread starter will make a decent article and its easily done.
The article will then get linked to on twitter and be on the front page, giving your words of wisdom the oxygen of publicity. And, it'll help stop these periods of downtime.
