A nice first match followed by a 4 week tour of Ireland where we will be lucky to get one win! Confidence will be rock bottom by the time the Wales lot get back from the world cup.

Very tough start your absolutely right, could be pressure on the coaching staff right from the get go. Trying to be positive though and thinking if we get a win out in Dublin against a team that will be depleted then onwards and upwards!

Arms park is being set up as a fan zone during the world cup so can't schedule matches there during the tournament

Really? That seems ridiculous.

Might have had a chance against some depleted Irish teams at the Arms Park, really think we will struggle to get anything from those 4 away games.

I quite like the fixtures to be honest

Yes it will be hard taking on all 4 irish in the first 5 weeks but honestly playing them then gives us the best chance of getting anything out of those games. We'll be missing a handful of players and they'll be missing half their team!

Well I suppose if that translates into a grisled lock and prop next season then I won't complain.

The league is a joke yes but, whatever the league the world cup would still mean us away from home AND the money is good, very good, plus the new coaching set up leaves my much more optimistic in the team being able to get something from these games

If they do it will enhance their belief in themselves, also the of teams they face only Connacht will be at anything like full strength, so maybe that is the chance they need to get it going from the off

Record out there is mainly crap, lets hope they can get something!!!

Cardiff in the emerald isle:
Connacht .. last success away 2014 ... W8 ... L 3 ... D1 (last visit)
Leinster .... last success away 2004 ... W2 ... L12 ... D1
Munster .... last success away 2013 ... W4 ... L11 ... D0
Ulster ....... last success away 2010 ... W3 ... L12 ... D0

I think thats an outstanding draw for us. Really pleased.

Yes, I am cheeky, but I'm sure all will agree that competition is healthy.

THe Fixtures could have been worse. It's always a problem in RWC year. With both the First team and the seconds being forced to play away at the start it is somethign to be grateful that the finalcial reward is helpful!
