John Scott Protest

www.ArmsPark.tk is holding a protest! I am pleading with all sport fans who know what it's like to be slated by the media! Below is a story featured on the old ArmsPark.tk site written by myself pointing out numerous occasuions where Echo columist John Scott just gets it wrong!

John Scott's most recent article (aka Chance to have a go at Cardiff) got on my nerves just like every other, except this one was possibly worse!

Scott, who is forever saying the Blues need big signings has criticised these players for a host of riddiculous reasons. After saying he liked foregin imports like Jason Spice and Percy Montgomery, he claimed Rush and Thorne would take '6 months to settle in and then the seasons over'. On what basis? Spice and Percy came good straight away as did Matt Cockbaine last year, and this time they would be able to turn to each other for suport if the ever did need it.

He then went on to say that we should use the money we would spend on their wages to 'invest in the future of the academy'. In other words, the one we already have set up. It also completely contradicts Scott's quick fix attitude. He also says Dai has never seen them play except on TV which as i stated in the above article is un-true. Dai was with teh New Zeland squad focussing on the forwards for nearly 2 moths leading up to and during the Autaum internationls.

As a lot of fans will know, Peter Thomas promiced '6 world class players' would arrive in the summer. Scott unbelieveable questions whether these two come into that criterea. Need i say more than this - Thorne, 41 NZ appearences, 22 as captain! Correct me if i'm wrong , but a player who captains the best side in the world for over half of his international appearences is usually considered world class.

The real question is how Mr Scott came to get the title 'Wales' best rugby columnist'.
