Confusion reigns of the availability of Welsh internationals for the beginning of the season, with regions officials denying that they had agreed to rest their key players, in a so called rugby charter.

Ireland seem determined to undermine the Celtic League counterparts in anyway possible, with their rather conveniently placed training camp, now it appears the WRU are keen to follow their lead with those international players that toured this summer being given a proper pre-season, with early September matches being hit hard.

Suffice to say it doesn't look good for a competition desperately in need of generating some interest, with most matches scheduled for TV there is very little to attract prospective supporters through the gate.

Any how just a quick note to say that Red Dragon Rugby will be back bigger and better in time for the new season. Watch this space.....
