15. G Thomas (capt) (6) – Decent game and led the side well, marked down for reacting to Grewcock when he should have kept his head.

14. H Luscombe (4) – I’ll keep saying it, what is he doing playing here for Wales, he is not good enough we have better talent and better sides will make us pay.

13. T Shanklin (7) – Solid game and looks likely to keep his place with Parker still injured, needs to do better when he gets a start.

12. G Henson (10) – Becomes a Welsh legend in his first start against England, showed every area of his game was world class, we saw the hits, the time on the ball, the strong running and the boot. We have a talisman and superstar.

11. S Williams (8) – He needed a big game against one of the worlds established sides and he played well, showed raw speed for the try and dangerous whenever he touched the ball.

10. S Jones, (5) – Let us down with the boot, if he scored his kicks and more reliable field position it could have been so much easier.

9.D Peel (7) – Not as influential as in the Autumn but a solid display that keeps him in the Lions hunt.

1.G Jenkins (8) – Melon stepped up to the plate with a big set piece performance, he will go on from this.

2. M Davies (6) – Line out a mess, good game in open play.

3. A Jones (6) – Torrid time initially against Rowntree and then got into the game.

4.B Cockbain (7) – Aggressive display and a fixture in the side.

5. R Sidoli (6) – Ok on his recall, I’d have liked to have seen a more dominant display but he’s on his way back.

6. D Jones (6) – Made the tackles and did the hard work, outshone by his back row colleagues.

7. M Williams (9) – Great display meant we didn’t miss Charvis one bit.

8. M Owen (7) – Potential to become a great 8 for Wales, carries and offloads, need 80minute performances.

All in all what a day for Wales, if you’d offered me a win at the start of the day I’d have bitten your hand off!!!

Looking back we should have had the game won in the first half, we need to show more composure and put points on the board.

However this win marks a major stepping stone for the side, they have that win over a big side and can go on to become a consistent top side, unlike in the past where a win against England has been the be all and end all we need to keep developing as a team and make our mark on the world stage, Ruddock knows where he needs to improve and to stop picking Hal Luscombe!!!

Next up is Italy and after watching them yesterday its going to be a huge challenge.
