14 K Morgan (7) - Amazed he lasted the game, he deserves a run in the Welsh jersey, didn't get a chance to show his pace, did well and vital to Wales for the rest of the 6N.

13 T Shanklin (6) - Big in defence, not so good in attack.

12 G Henson (7) - Some glimpses of genius, we need him to give us another match winning performance soon.

11 S Williams (6) - Rougerie ran all over him and made him look like a boy, bounced back strongly but we will need him to sharpen up his defence.

10 S Jones (9) - Best game for some time, his break was the catalyst for the revival.

9 D Peel (8) - Big game and sniping breaks

1 G Jenkins (6) - Some big hits but set piece needs to sharpen up.

2 M Davies (6) - Few missed line outs, do we need more physical presence?

3 A Jones (6) - Hard time in the scrums and missed a few tackles in the loose.

4 B Cockbain (7) - Some good line out ball and a nuisance, he enjoyed this.

5 R Sidoli (8) - Gets better with every game in this championship.

6 R Jones (6) - Spilled the ball and will struggle to hold onto his place.

7 M Williams (9) - Huge game and playing so well

8 M Owen (8) - Some good pick ups behind a retreating scrum, led the side well in Alfies's absence, we need him to grow as a leader.

Pre match:

Went to O'Malleys near Bourse Metro pre match and would recommend it to anyone.

We walked in and the place was packed out with French rugby fans and they greated us with the French national anthem, we spent hours drinking with a rugby team from Montferrand and thanks to Stephen Jones and some good memories of a tour in Cardigan we hardly put our hands in our pockets. Went to the game well oiled up and got in 3 beers for the games, drank them all in that dire first half and was not feeling any worse for wear.

Thinking I had reached my drinking peak the fella in front informed me it was Amstel Alcohol Free Beer only being sold at the game. Oh the shame...........

Anyways back to the rugby thoughts - This was the best game of the championship and the fact Wales won means so much, we turned a game round like many times in the past, the difference here was that we won.

Its time to get a result in Edinburgh it won't be any kind of walkover as being suggested by most and the win is vital.
