David's Rugby injury is similar to England's Matt Hampson's, lease give generously to the Purple bib Collectors at the Scotland v England match at Murrayfield this weekend. David was 16 years old when a horrific accident irrevocably changed his life. On the 3rd of November 2001 David suffered a C4 spinal injury - broken neck - while taking part in organised sport at Whitecraigs Rugby Club.

David
was 16 years old when a horrific accident irrevocably changed his life. On the
3rd of November 2001 David suffered a C4 spinal injury - broken neck - while
taking part in organised sport at Whitecraigs Rugby Club. This
resulted in the loss of movement of David's limbs from his shoulders down.
Following the accident, to maintain his recovery and rehabilitation at home,
David requires round the clock care and special adaptations to his living
environment.

David Azhar Appeal will be holding a collection outside Murrayfield Stadium prior to the Scotland v England RBS Six Nations Match on Saturday 8th March 2008. Supporters on their way to Murrayfield are asked please to dig deep and donated to this good cause. Look out for the Purple Bib Brigade with their buckets.
