England Senior and Saxons EPS update Further to their rehabilitation programmes a number of England Senior and Saxons players will not be attending the August 9-12 training camp.

Dylan Hartley (Northampton saints) will be reviewed next Tuesday by the England medical staff and they will continue their regular contact with the respective club medical teams looking after Matt Mullan (Worcester Warriors), Louis Deacon and Geoff Parling (Leicester Tigers) who will remain with their clubs throughout next week.

Tom Palmer and James Haskell (Stade Francais) will join the squad on Monday evening and return to Stade Francais on Tuesday night to prepare for their opening round match of the Top 14. Jonny Wilkinson (RC Toulon) will remain in France to prepare for his club game against Bayonne on Friday August 13.




England Team Manager, Martin Johnson said
“We believe that these have been the right decisions to take after close and amicable consultation with the clubs concerned. We will continue to have regular contact and subject to fitness look forward to seeing all of the players when we meet again at the end of October ahead of the Investec internationals.“
