Clive signs extended contract

Clive Woodward today signed a four-year extension to his contract. Clive will lead England not just in this World Cup but also into the next in 2007.

On signing the contract for a further four years, Clive thanked the players, coaching staff and everyone involved - he said the players had a big hand in him clinching this new deal.

Clive has changed the way England Rugby Union operates both on and off the field. He has taken the England squad into another dimension of professionalism, the envy of other nations.
