England Rugby February 2004 Monthly Review - IRB Sevens results, RBS Six Nations previews, reviews and results, Competitions and articles plus much more.
FEBRUARY 2004 - IN REVIEW:
* Well February started bitter sweet - the next round of the IRB 7s tournament saw England lose in New Zealand - England not on top form for this round unfortunately England lose out in 7s However, they did do better in the next round held in the USA, winning the Plate against Canada in the final by 55 points.
* And then of course the RBS 2004 Six Nations Championship got underway with England playing their first two games away from Twickenham - No longer a problem playing away nowadays for England.
* This month saw our very first Competition being launched in conjunction with www.prorugbymanager.com Unofficial England were delighted when Pro Rugby Manager asked if we would like two of their brand new games to give away in a competition. The NEW games are being launched on the 26/3/04 and it is still not too late to enter into the Competition England 6n Competition

* Sir Clive Woodward did a lot of talking again Clive Talks-Eng Selection - Clive Talks - Henry Paul -Clive Talks - Bok Manager - Clive Talks-Eng-Scotland and Visualisation. Josh Lewsey also got in the act with Josh Lewsey's Thoughts.

* And then of course we had Jonny being award the Freedom of the City of Newcastle Upon Tyne - a very special moment which was captured on Video streaming, again check it out here - Not only do you see Jonny being presented with the Freedom of the city but clips from the Rugby World Cup Final including Jason Robinson's try and Jonny's Drop Kick Goal, the homecoming, the parade and much more - well worth viewing.
