England Sevens Squad for Bordeaux 2005

England Sevens announce their squad for the final round of the IRB Sevens in Bordeaux. Unofficial England would like to wish them good luck.

England have made three changes to the Sevens squad who finished runners up in the Emirates Airline London Sevens at Twickenham last weekend, ahead of the final leg of the IRB Sevens in Paris. 

England Sevens Coach Mike Friday was disappointed by the loss at Twickenham but is looking forward to finishing the season on a high in France,

"Everyone is bitterly disappointed to have come so close to retaining our Twickenham title but I am pleased with our overall performance at Twickenham.  It was great experience for the players, especially the youngsters who hadn't pulled an England jersey on at Twickenham before, to play in such of such a big and enthusiastic crowd, and to face such challenging opposition".
