Orgee Looks To Return

The Bees are hoping to welcome back skipper Ed Orgee in time for the Powergen Cup campagin on 16th October when they play Doncaster.
Ed Orgee hasn't played a competitive rugby since at Sixways for the last game of the season last year against Worcester. His last club game was the pre-season friendly against Newcastle when he injured his knee ligament.
Orgee has had to sit out for a six week recuperation period after having surgery on his knee but yesterday the club announced that his injury is responding well and is on schedule to have a fitness test next week before the trip up north for the 3rd round of the Powergen Cup.
If all goes to plan, Orgee will be also looking to play in the next of the midweek matches, this time against Cambridge University. The Bees played Oxford this week and Cambridge is scheduled for the 19th of October - both games being used as warm up games before the Varsity match held on Tuesday 7th December at Twickenham.
Meanwhile, Mark Woodrow has removed from his thigh injury and made his return in the midweek game against Oxford. However, the fly half is unlikely to replace Tim Walsh, who has added adventurous running and accurate kicking to the Bees game plan, to make the starting line up for the Bristol game this Sunday.
Phil Maynard told local press "It was good to see Mark back, but he probably needs a couple of more training sessions before he plays himself into first-team contention,"
The only other fitness concern is with Scott Williams who is to have a late fitness test before the side to play Bristol is confirmed. The former Wales U21 player suffered a shoulder injury which prevented him playing in last Saturdays victory over Otley.
