This will be a real test for the squad away to an unbeaten Doncaster side. Fingers crossed that we can get a result ahead of a deserved week off and a big game at home to Ealing in a fortnight.

We can do it of that I have no doubt but we'll be needing to fire on all cylinders to achieve the W.

Error strewn first half . If Pirates had shown more composure we would be 20 points up against 13 men for last 10 minutes . Coaches will not be happy with that showing , no need to try to always offload and play Harlem Globetrotting rugby , but come on lads

We were really off our game today lacking our usual accuracy and made numerous errors in their 22. We didn't have the same energy in our performance so the quick turn around and long journey may have taken something out of us. Full credit to Doncaster for a gritty defensive performance and congratulations on the win.

Well I’m sorry Pirates but that was poor. Far too many silly unforced errors.

A game the Pirates had all the chances to win. Very disappointing.

It may have sounded a good match, it wasn't. Two pretty average teams conspiring to cock it up at every opportunity.

Donny's defence was excellent and we were a bit inaccurate. Feel for Cargs missing that kick, but that's the life of a goal kicker. Terrible luck for Nico- the injury looked pretty nasty. Injuries are mounting up a bit so a week off is a good thing for the boys. They'll come back firing on all cylinders for the Ealing game.

Frustrating watch but had the heart pumping. Miserable all evening, but that’s what supporting your team does to you when they lose. Decided to wait until this morning to post to allow myself to calm down and try to be positive with my comments. A game that we should have won but too many errors/inaccuracies and lack of composure at times were the difference. Line out went well, scrum ok. Some great turnovers, Duncs, Rory, and the one at the end by Kirk Kiri was fantastic. Thought Alex O’Meara was going all the way toward the end and Tommy Wyatt did well on his first start. Rather focus on positives but the injury to Nico looked bad, really feel for the lad after getting back to fitness, hoping it is not as bad as it looked. Will be tuning in again next time and supporting the boys, another huge game but remaining positive! Enjoy a rest boys, and then go again, we are all still behind with you. COYP.

Having had time to reflect I guess you have to give credit to Donny by outflanking us, we just couldn't get the space to play so credit to their defence and tactics. On the odd occasion we did get the space we looked good and easily capable of getting the W. Sadly not only were Donny quicker in defence and solid but although individually the boys had a good game as a team we had a poor day. Lets hope that's now out of the system and we can 'do' Ealing. All is far from lost by any means. So onwards and upwards. I'm not blaming 'sir' but particularly in the first half for me he made some very strange decisions, particularly the yellow card when it was clear that the Donny player was being easily held up by Josh until a Donny player forced his own player to the ground, also in the scrums as well some strange decisions, that said he did give some dubious calls either way!! I hope Nico's injury isn't as bad as it seemed at first and he soon recovers and leads the lads back onto the Mennaye in short order. I'm also surprised Kyle Moyle hasn't made the bench at least, if he was good enough to be first choice for Glous when on loan surely he must be at least in the frame for call up here, is he injured?

Cornish Bob, Kyle signed full time for Glos a few weeks ago.

Some of you doing better than I am. Still not over it. I have had a background bad mood on all week, But I am trying to be positive and what it does do is set up another huge game at the Mennaye, bigger than Sarries IMHO. It will be tough against a very high quality, possibly borderline Premiership, Ealing outfit. But think Sarries and that play-off semi against Briz when we turned up in hope rather than expectation, were 10 nil down in as many minutes and were merley enjoying the sunshine before that crazy last quarter. I have even already oredered my Matchbox even though it is overpriced, I could not manage (again) to get the free delivery and I did not really enjoy it last time. But am trying to replicate exactly my pre match build up before the Sarries game.
A word om the commentary as it has been mentioned. For the Donny game I opted fpr a long walk with Radio Dreckly and was delighted that Dick S was on the mic. But he struggled to keep a handle on what was going on and I wondered why, It wasn't untill he said he was watching it on a single monitor in Truro that I realised how difficult that might be. I think we have to take the TV stream for what it is. I think Murray Westren is very good, he is balanced and talks a lot of sense, even when he is not being conventional. He made a great point during the Richmond game about giving yourselves the best chance of scoring. So if you have an attacking scrum 5m out in the middle of the field and your most potent attacker is on the wing, don't leave him there, put him at first receiver and get the ball in his hands. And we will come to embrace Rhodrhi as our answer to Yogi Berra. He does not so much as mix his metaphors as disassemble them and stick them back together randomly. My favourite the other week was "he slipped round the corner like a bannana skin" You could get all sniffy about it, but it is nothing if not entertaining

Murray is very good. IMO Rhodrhi is trying hard to replicate David Flatman , but Flats is sparing with his one liners whilst Rhodrhi fires out a constant stream of Berra isms , leaving us with nit so strong a picture of what is actually happening on the pitch .
