Joe Elderkin is named at inside centre with Harry Bazalgette at fly-half and Harvey Beaton at tight-head prop.

20-year-old Cornishman Ben Grubb - who is dual-registered with Exeter Chiefs - is a new name on the bench and will provide backrow cover.

London Scottish will be tougher opponents than their league position would suggest.
We are missing a number of our D/R players from Exeter and a few of our own players have picked up injuries over the last couple of weeks stretching our playing resources to the limit.
Hopefully our confidence from the last two wins in the league will stand us in good stead and we can get the win.

Reasonably comfortable we come away with a win and hopefully a BP thrown in. Must not underestimate the Scots as they have a lot to play for.

Sounded like a good game, but tight

A good win as we were made to work hard for the points against opponents who had nothing to lose.
Slightly disappointed that having established a two score lead we quickly put ourselves back under pressure by conceding a score shortly afterwards.
Thankfully we took our opportunities to put points on the board when it mattered.
We are now 5th in the table.

Did Ben Grubb get a few minutes in the back row?

He came on for the last ten minutes to make his debut for the pirates.

Thanks Pirate 15. It will do him good to experience Championship rugby.

Just relieved we got the win and the 5 points - a rare thing for us at the RAG. When you consider who wasn't playing for us today that's a pretty good outcome. Bazalgette's kicking was brilliant and made the difference in the end.

After reading the match report and how disrupted our training has been this week due to injuries and lack of other players this was a good win away from home.
Scottish also had a number of players from harlequins in their squad.

I think it was around 13 Quins players, according to John Martin on Radio Drekkly

I think he actually said 8 Geoff with 6 starters and 2 on the bench, but in any event a fairly high proportion

They also have a number of players on loan from Edinburgh and Glasgow rugby.

It’s a farce when their team is nowhere near an actual London Scottish team. On a different week it may have been a genuine Scottish team. Presumably there is no limit to the number of loan players allowed in a game?

Pleased we came away with a win plus BP. Was expecting a difficult game and with the amount mentioned playing from the Quins Pirates put on a good show. Next week will bit different again against Ealing but, things can happen.
