Lock Josh King, will mark his 50th appearance for the Pirates, whilst flanker Alex Everett, who has returned from a short-term loan spell at Harlequins, will skipper the side.

Two guest players on the bench are fly-half Rory O’Kane and full-back Marcus Kershaw.

As Exeter Chiefs are also playing Gloucester in the premiership cup their squad contains a number of players who are on D/R with the pirates.
A Penzance mini/junior Oscar Beckerleg who has represented England under 20s is starting for them in the 2nd row.
A opportunity for a number of players to get some game time ahead of our first league game on 4th October against Hartpury.
2 interesting guest players in fly half Rory O'Kane who has just signed for Camborne and full back Marcus Kershaw who was at Ealing.

A very pleasing result against a young but talented Chiefs side who tried to play rugby at every opportunity.
The pirates coaches will be pleased with our set piece, physicality in defence and our accuracy in attack.
Some very impressive individual performances and a well deserved MoM for Arwel Robson.
There's still plenty to work on ahead of our opening league fixture against Hartpury at home in 3 weeks time.

Very impressed. When everyone is fit we look a pretty good team. Solid front row, and mobile and physical back five. Proper class at half back, good quality centres and pacy back three.
