Leeds: 54 Warrington: 16
Warrington Wolves coach Paul Cullen did not pull any punches in his review of the display shown in the defeat to Leeds Rhinos on Friday night at Headingley.
Cullen said "The scoreline always reflects the game, It reflects our inability to maintain any level of discipline for sustained periods".
"We lost the penalty count and we were punished every time we erred".
"You can't play this game without the ball, field position and pressure".
"I'm surprised we have scored as many points as we have done because we've destroyed our own energy system tonight".
"This is a Leeds side who have energised themselves coming into this game and unfortunately we allowed ourselves to be the victims."
Despite the huge loss, Warrington will make the play-offs for the second successive season, despite 9 defeats from there last 12 league matches.
