Wolves to face Salford in Cardiff

Warrington Wolves will face derby rivals Salford City Reds on the 6th May 07 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, as engage Super League Round 13 heads to the Welsh capital. Click for more information.
The order of matches for engage Super League’s Millennium Magic weekend has been unveiled - as tickets for the two-day spectacular go on sale today.
All six matches in Round 13 of the 2007 engage Super League competition are being staged at the prestigious venue in the Welsh capital, Cardiff, to provide a spring entertainment extravaganza for supporters of all clubs and the growing number of Welsh rugby league followers.
The opening day of the event will see Catalans Dragons facing Harlequins RL as the first match (kick-off 3pm), followed by the eagerly awaited clash between arch rivals Hull FC and Hull KR (5pm).
The day will climax with St Helens v Wigan Warriors (7pm) – a repeat of the 2004 Challenge Cup Final which took place at the same venue.
On Sunday, the first game sees Huddersfield Giants take on Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (2pm) followed by Salford City Reds versus Warrington Wolves (4pm).
The huge West Yorkshire derby between Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos (6pm) provides the finale to day two.
Meanwhile, tickets for this ground-breaking event go on sale at engage Super League club ticket offices from today.
Tickets are available which allow supporters to see either all the action on one day or all six games over the full weekend.
The great value prices start at just £18 and concessions are available on all prices.
There are also great value offers for club season ticket holders.
Commenting on engage Super League’s Millennium Magic event, the RFL’s chief operating officer, Nigel Wood, said: “The Millennium Magic will be a unique weekend and we expect demand for tickets to be extremely high.
“Supporters attending the event will be able to enjoy all the attractions offered by the stadium’s tremendous location in Cardiff city centre and experience what will be a feast of hugely attractive matches."
Wood added: “We believe many supporters will make the Millennium Magic a full family weekend of sporting entertainment and we would encourage everybody to secure their place now at what will be a hugely exciting event.
“The city of Cardiff has a tremendous track record of successfully hosting both rugby league and other major sports and we hope the experience for supporters to be just as vibrant for the Millennium Magic."
Tickets are on sale at club ticket offices throughout December and will go on sale from the RFL ticket office on January 3, 2007.
