Warrington Wolves will face last season surprise package Salford City Reds on Sunday in the final pre season fixture ahead of the Super League opener against Wigan Warriors on the 9th February 2007. Warrington who have announced a full strength squad for the match, will hand new signing Adrian Morley a debut against his home town club. Other new signings Paul Johnson and Vinnie Anderson are also included in the squad for the match.
Salford City Reds will also be fielding a full strength team including Luke Dorn, Michael Korkidas, Gray Viane and ex wolf Danny Halliwell who all moved to The Willows in the close season. In 2006, Salford who finished ahead of the Wolves in the final table did beat Warrington 3 time throughout the season, winning twice at The Halliwell Jones Stadium in the early stages of last season. However the reverse fixture at The Willows was a match that could have gone either but sadly Salford got the winning Drop Goal to snatch all the points when a draw looked likely.
Warrington Wolves fans are advised that the match is pay on the gate only and that the club do not have any tickets to sell for this game. Admission prices for the Salford game are as follows:-

Directions to The Willows, Salford :-
Join M62 either at Winwick or Birchwood and continue forward. At M62 exit 12 follow signs for Salford and Manchester City Centre and join M602 by keeping right. Continue forward for 2 miles. At exit 2 keep left signposted A576 Eccles/Ashton U Lyne. At the rounabout take the first exit onto A576 Gildabrook Road and continue forward for 0.7 miles. Bear right (East) onto Tootal Drive and continue forward for 0.3 miles. Turn left (East) onto New Cross Street and contine forward for 0.1 miles. Turn right (South) onto Kennedy Road and then immediately Left (East) onto Willows Road and continue for 0.3 miles. Ground will then appear on the right.
