Warrington Wolves centre Brent Grose has signed a three-year extension to his contract which will keep him at The Halliwell Jones Stadium until 2008.

The 25-year-old’s original contract was due to expire in November but the Australian has now pledged his future to the club after two impressive seasons since he joined from South Sydney.

Grose said: “I’m very happy to stay here, as is my fiancée Kylie. I love it here and I can see myself staying here for the rest of my career.

“There were a few factors I had to take into consideration. I have been here a few years and that I was happy here on and off the field. This place is really going somewhere and I wanted to be part of it.”

Grose revealed he does not expect to return to the NRL when his new deal at Warrington expires, adding: “I’m not holding out for offers to go back then.

“I have had offers for next year but I’m not interested, Warrington is where I call my home
