Following the statement issued by Eamon McManus, Chairman of St. Helens Rugby League Club in relation to the termination of Ian Millward's contract, Warrington Wolves confirm that Lord Hoyle, the Clubs Chairman, wrote to their Chairman in regard to foul language being used against one of the club's employees. Ian Millward subsequently apologised and this apology was accepted by our employee and with that the matter was closed as far as Warrington Wolves were concerned.
The relationship between St. Helens and their Head Coach is a matter for them, as indeed is any action they take following their investigations.
