Connachts late rally not enough

A Paul Warwick inspired comeback was not enough for Connacht as they lost by seven points to Ulster in Galway on Friday night. Warwick replaced McHugh and immediately found his feet as he scored 12 of Connachts 17 points over a 10 minute period.

After the report I spent hours writing was lost when my session timed out, I have decided just to give you some brief facts, and links to other reports.

• Ray Ofisa played his first full game for Connacht and did extremely well.
• McHugh showed that last weeks performance was not a blip and that his form has taken a turn for the worst.
• John Fogarty & Ray Hogan proved just how valuable they were when the Connacht set pieces fell apart after they retired.
• Andrew Farley captained the side for the first time this season after being Captain for almost every game for the last two years.
• Ted Robinson was sinbinned for a speartackle on Humphty-dumpty, but the two players were spotted chatting after the match and there seemed to be no illfeeling about it, despite was the Ulster coach may have said in the papers.
