I’ll be there to watch our youngsters give it their best. The two sides look fairly well matched overall. Unless my eyes deceived me didn’t Tyrone Green turn out for London Scottish against us ? His leg was strapped up so perhaps it was a ‘rehab’ game for him. I hope he plays as poorly as he did then.

Original team post amended to reflect this change. No disrespect to Max but Dan could make a very dynamic impact off the bench!

I think this will be closer than last weeks game!
Home advantage might benefit them so Quins 26 - 21 Chiefs, but what do I know.

Win or lose, all I want is another match of the guys playing with heart, and getting more experience, Quins pitch is not a ploughed field like Baths so with luck and some more accurate passing we should give them a good game.
We have the pace to cover people like Lynagh, and I would say our pace attack is the fastest for a long time. So with heart more than head hope for a win.

That quins back three is dangerous so I can definitely see them scoring some tries, They also have big Joe in the row who will be looking to make an impression and Luke Northmore who Intate very highly at 12. Both good debm boys sadly on the wrong team.
On balance I prefer our half backs who I hope will control the game and edge it for us. It could be a thrilling watch. Like others I expect high scores and a much closer game.
Quins 29 Chiefs 33

Think it will be a high scoring game but Chiefs to win 37 - 29.

It’s traditional for Quins to get an outrageous decision in their favour or some other scandalous piece of good luck in the 80th minute, so sadly I’m going for Quins 32, Chiefs 28

It’s going to be one hell of a ride this season. Plenty of highs with hopefully only a few occasional lows. Quins 32 Chiefs 27 (2 BP’s 😂)

The Stoop not the happiest hunting ground and I’ve seen my fair share of disappointment there…. But most of this squad will have no experience of that! Quins strong but missing a few…. I’m going for a high scoring win… chiefs 40, quins 38. COYC

I think it will turn on the breakdown and the battle of the back rows. Joe Launchbury will make 5m mauling tries difficult as well as our lineouts. I think it will be high scoring with us getting two bonus points Harlequins 37 Chiefs 31.. I think a LBP performance away to Quins would be quite good although I would prefer us to win of course! Hope for an attacking open game with no injuries or cards.

Quins didn't have a great PRC but I don't know the strength of the sides they were putting out - they had a few players, including Tyrone Green, out on loan at London Scottish. On that point, Green's leg was very heavily strapped and he didn't look particularly fit or mobile.
After last week it's anybody's guess, mine being Chiefs 29 Quins 28

After last week’s s outstanding performance this one is again hard to call. Quins look good in the back line and home advantage usually goes their way.

Very unlucky there not to get a point.
Lads stayed in the fight right to the end. A little bit more composure needed at times but that will come . Great effort that kept Quins guessing all game.
Kept Quins scoreless in the second half, untill the last kick of the game.
Well played lads

Considering that we were missing first choice players at 4,5,9,11 and 12 we didn't do badly (yes I know Quins were missing players too but I am only interested in how we play).
With more composure we could, and probably should, have won that. I suspect that Sale next week will provide a more meaningful measure of where we are in terms of development but, irrespective of the score line or the refereeing, I thought that was very encouraging. We've been blown away at the Stoop with far more experienced teams than today's.

Completely agree. Nice to see young players playing heads up rugby. Did we try and force a few things, yes. However if they turn up every week and play like that I'm happy.
Scrum, line out is so much better. Still got 2 loose heads to come back, and two second rows to aid the scrum.

Clearly we were all expecting a higher scoring game so few got close with actual scores and no-one scored more than a couple of points this week
