I like the look of our team and bench, should be a good game, they aren’t holding back.
If we do get on top or they have a slender lead, I wonder how many times Marler or some others will take the knee for some reason, seems to have been a tactic of theirs at SP for a few years.
But they have quality but so do we, our backs now can be just as scary with pace as theirs.

No Dan Frost or Josh Hodge. And sadly no Olly Devoto. But Jack Dunne starts, hopefully a sign that he’s staying.
It’s going to be a tough one to call. Heart says Chiefs but head says Quins, but are they completely recovered from their semi against Toulouse last week? Should be a cracker.
Chiefs 27 21 Quins.

The trip to Toulouse is bound to have taken its toll. You only need to look at how it affected Ex with the before and after fixtures against Bath, who had a two week preparation. Arguably it was a two score swing.
On paper Quins are probably the stronger team, but home advantage and the Toulouse factor makes it a narrow home win imo. Probably high scoring though.
35 Ex - 30 Quins.

Interesting that they've gone with a 6/2 split on the bench, do they think it'll be a forward battle? Has the rest done us good, has last week's game affected them? Who knows but I think we will nick it, Chiefs 31 - 24 Quins

A short turnaround following a bruising encounter in France. Weather looks good and we are rested so hopefully a fast game will wear them down. No Esterhuizen either.

They have the skill at half back to punish any mistakes on the blitz defence we use. We need to take them on up front as they must feel battered after their Toulouse trip with a short turnaround. Mr Carley does not like dissent so important to stay clear of that. Breakdown key as always - a flood of quick ball for them will be punished. Ideal conditions for running rugby, both teams need to win with bonus points. Hope their short turnaround, and Sandy Park edge it for us; it may need a bit of luck and Marcus Smith to have an off day. Heart prevailing Chiefs 38 Harlequins 35

We really really have to look after the ball!
No loose kicks so they can run the ball back in open field.
As others have said it's a quick turnaround for them so hopefully that will take effect towards the end of the match but if the match is fast and loose it will play right into their hands!
🤞

Quote:Top 4 IS still attainable, with 2 bonus points wins we can get a total of 55 points, Bath and Sale have Saints and Sarries respectively next week. Quite possible Bris and Sale could lose those games. Maybe unlikely but still possible for us to get 2 BP wins.Comanche ChiefQuote:Yes forget the playoffs they are unattainable now. Quote:That's most of us every week! It's become a very hard league to predict . Take today, Quins on paper have a much stronger and more experienced team on paper, but last week must of taken it out of them a bit. We don't get beaten often at home, but have put in some very mixed performances of late. Careful kicking and ball retention key,ouch!_that_hurts

I think top four is pretty unrealistic but we need one point, I think, to keep ahead of tigers for a champs cup slot, or deny them a BP at their place, that's id glous win the challenge cup.Which for a season with such transition is a good one. Whereas I would say Quins not making top four is a poor season. This I think will tell. Chiefs 27 Quins 42
