5 Chiefs starting against the Chiefs!

Very surprised that Josh Hodge isn’t making his return, he told me weeks ago he was fit and ready to play and said how much he enjoys playing with Ricky Pellow in charge. Hope he’s not leaving.

And Yenz back in the team. We know Frost is leaving and can’t see Yenz playing next year, so who is going to take their places?

Has to be a big win for Chiefs 63 Pirates 15

A strong selection with a few changes. Like that 2nd row happy Capstick is in the backrow. Why o why is Yenz and Frost both getting outings. We need to be developing youngsters for next year.
Having said that we should be significantly too strong for Priates so I'll go Chies 42 Pirates 15

Great to see a few more youngsters being blooded!!
Strong team against a side lying mid-table and under strengthed.

Chiefs 40 Piates 15 sounds reasonable.

Switching Yeandle in makes sense. If we win this thing we'll only have two weeks off between now and the end of April. We do have to rest players a little bit surely!

Good to see they've taken Dan John off the naughty step, and hope McCaig gets a good run out, likewise the others that have made the bench.

It's all good in Le Will Haydon-Wood.

Happy to see Dan John and Dragons back. The Wyatt Stuff at fifteen. Bangsanity in his natural position. Baloney Sandwich off the bench!

Okay, enough puns. Chiefs 47 - 12 Pirates.

Cueto wasn't in touch, at least in my dreams.

The total exclusion of Joe Bailey ( who is pictured in the Chiefs Facebook page promoting this game) unless injured is bewildering to say the least - he won an U20 World Cup and is getting zero time - why ?

Wimbush is also getting so little game, you wouldn’t blame him for leaving, he has so much potential but not being exposed to men’s rugby in the prem cup is just crazy.
Great to see Dan John fit again would love to have seen him starting on the wing (ahead of BH) or even full back, we cannot afford to lose Wyatt to injury.

I’m not sure it will be as one sided as some suggest but still should be a comfortable win. Chiefs 36 Pirates 17.

Just seen a comment on Facebook in response to the team sheet which reminded me, according to the report on Jacques Vermeulen's citing, he's banned for this game?

No JV is available if he completes the tackle school course which he must have or is committed to doing. The judgement states that if you look at the offy page re his naughty boy hearing.

He got 2 weeks which was reduced to 1 if he completed did the get out of jail coaching course, he must have done that to be picked for tomorrow.

Chiefs 36 - 15 Pirates

Adjusted my prediction, it’s a must take the 5pts win

Another development team in keeping with the spirit of the competition...😆 Im sure everyone will agree.😇😇

This will be my first time back at Sandy Park for over 6 months and I cant wait.

I dont really understand some of the selections and Pirates will certainly put up a fight, so I'm not sure that it will quite as one sided as some predict, but im going 41-23

Thanks, I'd not seen that this was an option for him. Good news for us.

Pearson on the bench?! Hope he gets an early call! Where is Zack? Selections remain baffling.
Chiefs 56 : Pirates 14

In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

Agree with most others. Some odd selections, can't see what's gained by flogging the like of Ethan Roots. Also, like most others I'm expecting a big home win

Chiefs 52 Pirates 12.

The score does depend on how much we go for it, or whether we get a lead then chill out a bit!!

Couldn't agree more. It's like Rob & co are forcing our young talent to leave. I'm utterly bewildered and & lost faith. Sorry In Rob I no longer trust.

Regardless of the score and result today chiefs coaches are clearly a busted flush. I was good at my paper round when I was a kid, sped round it rain or shine. could I do in now? Probably, but in treble or four times the time it used to take. Would I have the same motivation to do it to the same standards in all weather? 100% no, not at all. Time for a complete coaching clear out. Sooner the better. Will it happen? Absolutely not the existing coaching cartel won’t be budged. The club is too @#$%& holding on to past success.
