The England medics will today give their verdict on whether David Strettle has any chance of gracing the World Cup. The elusive and exciting Quins winger is suffering from a "Beckham" - a fractured metatarsal in his left foot. It's an injury which can take a long time to heal ...
It was one of those daft training injuries but one which could cost the holders dear. Strettle looks to be one of the few fair players in the England squad - and together with Hipkiss something of an unknown for the opposition.
