Twenty-point defeat for Saders at the Stoop

Harlequins seemed to simply go through the motions on Saturday afternoon as they secured a comfortable 26-6 win over the Celtic Crusaders on Saturday. Damien Quinn's early try, converted by Mark Lennon, gave the travelling South Walian contingent hope but the London club eventually ran out comfortable winners.

The Quins lacked a bit of flair and conviction but still found things relatively easy against John Dixon's men. The travelling fans, boosted by support from a number of London Welsh fans, were celebrating when Quinn crossed early on and Lennon booted over the extras.

However, the hosts were soon level and always looked likely to secure maximum points.

Cru, of course, remain rock bottom of the table with two Super League points from their fifteen outings to date. Next up is a difficult home tie against Challenge Cup semi-finalists Wigan next Saturday evening at the Brewery Field.

At least the tip to bet the Saders with a 22 point handicap lead paid off !!!!
