No double for Saders as Bulls win at Brewery

The Bradford Bulls claimed revenge for the Saders' win at Odsal earlier in the season with a comfortable victory at the Brewery Field. John Dixon's men were wasteful as they slipped to a 19th reverse of the season - beaten 34-12 by the South Yorkshire side.

Dixon's men wasted a number of opportunities as the Bulls, backed by around 600 travelling supporters, cruised to a comfortable win.

First-half tries from Glen Morrison, Elliot Whitehead and Dave Halley put the away side firmly in charge - with Paul Deacon on form with the boot.

The Bulls extended their lead to 24 points when Andy Lynch crossed and Deacon scored again - though the Saders did threaten an unlikely fightback through Lincoln Withers and Matty Smith.

However, a second Lynch try, a Semi Tadulala score and six more points from Deacon sealed a relatively easy two points for Steve McNamara's side.

It's probably too little, too late for the Bulls as they remain some nine points behind the play-off pack as we enter the final few hurdles of the regular season. The Saders, meanwhile, remain six points adrift of old rivals Salford.
