Why are we waiting? Cru fans clueless amid confusion

Crusaders’ fans remain completely in the dark as the ‘Early Bird’ deadline for season tickets edges ever closer. Loyal supporters have absolutely no idea where home matches will be played next season, or if press speculation claiming the club will be relocated to Wrexham are true.
Thismorning I spoke on the telephone to two very friendly people – one at RodneyParade, the other at the Racecourse.
Neither had any idea where Crusaders RL willplay their home games next season.
At Newport, I was told that Rodney Parade were expecting to host ten SuperLeague games next season but nothing had been confirmed. All they were sure ofwas that the season-opener against Leeds would be played125-miles north in Wrexham.
At Wrexham, I was again told that the onlycertainty was that the Racecourse would host the Leeds Rhinos opener. Thegentleman said the club were waiting for confirmation on where the other gameswould be played, and that he was expecting some form of official announcementwithin the next few days.
Meanwhile, the club remains silent. Despitefierce media speculation about the club’s financial state, and reportsincreasingly linking Cru with a permanent move to Wrexham, there has been nostatement of offer of assurance for fans from club officials.
However,advertisements claiming that season ticket “gainyou entry to all 10 home engage Super League matches at Rodney Parade, thethree home matches that will be played “on the road” in Wales plus the FourthRound of the Carnegie Challenge whether it be home or away” remain on the homepage.
Fanshave just five days left to snap up season tickets at the generous 'Early Bird'price. However, surely nobody is going to splash out hundreds of pounds whenthe club cannot even give us an indication of what's going on.
Hopefully,the silence will be broken by the weekend!
