Scorpions must look to sting the Hornets - Rochdale preview

The South Wales Scorpions will be looking to get their season back on track on Sunday as the Rochdale Hornets travel to Neath. Anthony Seibold's men can expect a tough fixture against a team who currently occupy fourth spot in the Championship One table.

Club directors and management will be hoping the fans turn out in decent numbers again after 890 watched last week's narrow defeat to Swinton.

Seibold's preparations have been hit by a number of injury problems - with Jamie Murphy and Lee Williams both out with injury.

Harri Greville and Jamie Tibbs are also unavailable, while Sam Studley is a doubt with a limb problem.

Rochdale coach John Stankevitch clearly sees his side as favourites, but has earmarked the fixture as a "potential banana skin" for his Hornets side.

The Hornets travel to Wales on a fine run of form. They have won five games on the bounce and, last weekend, claimed a fine 28-22 home win over Hunslet Hawks.

It's a 2pm kick-off at the Gnoll.
