Wildbore arrangement agreed for 2011

Influential half-back Loz Wildbore will remain with the South Wales Scorpions for the 2011 season. The former York man bagged 72 points for the Scorpions last season and played a crucial role in helping the club secure a play-off spot in their inaugural season.

Wildbore will continue to live in Hull, where he is a plasterer, and will travel to South Wales for home matches. It was an arrangement which worked surprisingly well last season.

Scorpions Head Coach Adam James has said that he is "really pleased" that Wildbore has agreed to remain with the Neath club for the 2011 campaign.

He added: "Loz was the player that we really wanted to secure for the new season".

The Englishman has played for Widnes Vikings, Featherstone Rovers and York City Knights during his career and is one of the most popular names in the Scorpions squad.

26-year-old Wildbore is a former England and Great Britain academy international. His experience is crucial in helping some of the squad's younger players adapt to rugby league.

we need loz big time,a class act at this club.he brings the best out of players around him,and keeps our players on the front foot whenever possible.thanks for your massive effort fella,good luck lads

Agreed. This is an exciting development as we prepare for the new season. Loz seems to really enjoy being involved in S.Wales.

it was never in any doubt great club, great fans, great coaches brilliant atmospere and a club thats is properly run by the very best people. we look forward to seeing you all very soon have a great christmas and happy new year to all fans and club officials
