The tower awaits

If the South Wales Scorpions have any real chance of progressing towards the Northern Rail Cup finals day at Halifax they need to put the heavy defeat by London Skolars behind them as they travel to Cheltenham's Prince of Wales stadium to take on new boys Gloucester All Golds on Sunday 10th September kick off is at 3pm.

The team will be keen to prove that Sunday's defeat at the Gnoll was just a bad day at the office and they can bounce back to winning ways quickly. Gloucester All Golds also lost their opening fixture going down in a closer contest to Hemel Stags by 18-36.

This is a close trip for the Scorpions being just up the M5 so it would be good to see some fans making the reasonably easy trip.

The Under 20's have a fixture on Sunday v Leigh Centurions at 2.30pm at Tredegar RFC.

A much better performance yesterday. Nothing controversial for the referee as the game was played in a great spirit.
Onwards and upwards!
