On the road for a few weeks..

The South Wales Scorpions are on their travels for the next few games. The annual re-seeeding of the pitch at the Gnoll means their last minute victory over Rochdale will be their last at home until 16th June. Games against London Skolars, Gateshead, Hemel and Gloucester All Golds await. Our next home match is aainst Oldham on 16th June.

The 30-28 win over Rochdale Hornets has given the club a very welcome boost, it was our first home victory of the season and gace us back to back wins following the win at Oxford. The Championship One table now looks a little more promising with six points from three games. The next match is on Sunday 5th May at London Skolars kick off is at 3pm.

It is very pleasing to report that Kristian Hawkes’ try for South Wales Scorpions against Rochdale Hornets at The Gnoll in Neath last Sunday has been named Premier Sports Try of the Week for Kingstone Press Championship One. The try levelled the scores and the resulting extras sealed the win!
