The Scorpions next and last match of the regular season is at Wrexham where even a win against North Wales Crusaders may not be enough to get the South Wales team into the playoffs. The last defeat at home to London did at least produce a bonus point but Oxford remain two points ahead with a game in hand. Oxford play the Crusaders on Sunday...

In all fairness if we do sneak into the playoffs it will not really be be on merit, having lost twice as many games as we have won this season. However as fans we always remain hopeful and will cling to any chance whilst it still exists. Whatever rests on the last game for either ourselves or the Crusdaers, who are looking for the title, it will be a Welsh derby and this should be savoured. Having two RL teams in the Championship structure is something we should be proud of.
