It's Gloucester All Golds next - as we search for that win!

The Scorpions face Gloucester All Golds at Maesteg on Sunday 1st June 2014 with a 3pm kick off. The home team are still searching for that elusive first win of the season and face the team from who they gained a bonus point when we were defeated 29-17 earlier this season. That bonus point is the "Scorps" only point of the season, but many fans will argue our performances merit a better return.
Please note this will be the team's last home Sunday fixture for a while, the four home games following will be played on Saturday afternoons with the next match taking place at Blackwood when we entertain York City Knights. The York game will be our 100th competitive match so please bring a friend or two to celebrate the continuation of Rugby League in South Wales.
The Under 19's will take on their counterparts from Gloucester in the curtain raiser - kick off 12.30pm.

We lost the next six league games in 2013 - so it is now 15 competitive matches since our last win. High time to put that right and turn things around.
The match on Sunday 1st June is an ideal one to register that initial win of the season and to move on and up from there.
We are undoubtedly getting better and experience will come with each match - let's get behind the team and help them concentrate for 80 minutes and eradicate where possible the errors which have proved costly in the early weeks of the campaign.
