South Wales Scorpions travel to Oxford.....

It is the last away game of the season and the Scorpions will be looking to pick up points and put in a good performance at Iffley Road in Oxford. Kick off is at 3pm on the 31st August. It has been a tough season for the team with only two wins in the league to show for all their efforts, so an strong finish to the campaign would be a boost to everyone involved with the club.
Two players may be making personal milestones on Sunday - Ashley Bateman should make his 100th club appearance while Neil Dallimore could be making his half century. Speaking about the two players, coach Mike Grady - "I’d like to thank both players for their long standing commitment to the Scorpions. Ash has rarely missed a game throughout the years and Neil has returned from a long-term injury to rejoin us. Both have been an inspiration to younger players in the squad and I hope they’re with us for a long time yet."
Skipper Phil Carleton looks a doubt due to a leg injury.
Oxford have beaten the Scorpions twice this season so it would be nice to get some revenge and put in a strong performance in the penultimate game of the year.
The last match is at Mountain Ash on 7th September when we entertain Hunslet Hawks.
