No second 'announcement'.....

No genuine vision being shared with the fans for the club....

Maybe Lord Lucan will turn up first....

I found more to enjoy in the display yesterday than I did in the display at home when we lost to Hemel.

We have no edge defence,particularly down the right side.

On my long return home,by discourtesy of delayed and cancelled train trips,I did wonder how they could train to improve this when there are a shortage of fit bodies.

It ia something that the home coach was aware of HERE

We varied the restarts and got repeat sets.The best piece of individual play was from Fraser Stroud,despite the obvious carrying of an injury.

As the Keighley coach points out above,the middles defended well.

I'm guessing the announcement depend on when information is passed elsewhere.

I'll check up on it at the weekend.It will be a major talking point if it is confirmed.

Our opponents on Saturday,Whitehaven have had 2 winding up petitions brought against them this year. The next few days for them will also be interesting.

At risk of being pedantic what he actually said in the article was they (Keighley) went down the middle when they knew the edges were weak, which is not quite the same as your interpretation of his comments.

I am grateful for the updating of results on this unofficial site and for the comments by supporters and those connected with the club on this forum, but am dismayed as pointed out by PC by the official website. No amount of social media posts can disguise the fact that the website is constantly out of date and a dreadful advert for the club.

Whitehaven up next indeed, who have been through their own turmoils in recent times but appear to have got things settled. They are bang in the middle of the league and it will be a good test for WWR to see if we can a) get on the scoresheet; b) keep the scoreline down and c) possibly avoid defeat.

I'll be on the Wirral this weekend so will not be there at Stebonheath.

Looking forward to the BIG second announcement (if it happens)

Hats off to CI for finding things to enjoy in result which was Keighley's biggest ever home win (by points difference) - you cannot keep a good man down! Nobody deserves an upturn in fortune more than that man - will it come on Saturday?

Business at the other end now done and publicised.

I expect an announcement fairly soon from West Wales Raiders,hopefully.

No,nothing to do with the funding.Though I do hope everyone can join up to the membership

With regard to keeping the website up to date - I think the person who normally does it is very busy with all manner of rugby league playing age groups/teams.

Facebook and Twitter seems to be the best way of keeping in touch.

Uplifting news cannot be far away.Timing may be nice after a first win in 2018.

I recall other "major announcements" in the clubs history that were well signalled in advance - the academy at Maesteg (?) comes to mind - and in the end they were mostly a damp squid.

Hope for better this time!!

The year we had at Maesteg was the most fun in recent history, on the pitch we were almost competitive and the venue was good. It's a shame that the club has had such a nomadic existence since leaving Bridgend.

I have to agree with jd about announcements - let's hope the next one is something worth waiting for.

I am concerned that the club are able to update the social media sites of twitter / facebook but cannot update their website. But I guess that's just my old fashioned opinion...

Let's hope we can exploit Whitehaven's current problems and GET THAT WIN (or even a draw...)

It looks like the new consortium will be in attendance at the game tomorrow.

They still haven't taken over the club,so the uncertainty remains, and there has still not been any
announcement on whether or not 60k has been raised by the supporters and others.
