Lions Tour 2009 - As the tour draws nearer and the Super 14 plays itself out the Spring Boks look to be picking up injuries to their players.
Springbok Injury List
Sprinbok Coach Peter De Villiers
Springbok coach Peter De Villiers is starting to have a headache we think, although he states that the current injuries are not unexpected. The Springboks who might be in the pot for selection are picking up quite a number.
One in particular Conrad Jantjes. A broken leg has ruled theSpringbok fullback out of a three-match Test series against the British and Irish Lions starting on June 20.

Jean de Villiers,
Schalk Burge,
Fourie du Preez,
Hennie Bekker
No doubt there will be many more by the time the tour comes around but we will be keeping a Lion's Eye on the developments.
